Black Damask Project Ribbon Cutting

 

	Center Director Paul Shackel greets congressman Elijah Cummings at the Black Damask Ribbon Cutting ceremony. Rep. Cummings gave a rousing speech at the ceremony, encouraging the students to take full advantage of the unique opportunity that the project provides. .
		Students and a teacher from the Baltimore Talent Development High School examine artifacts from the Carroll Park collection. The objects were excavated from around the park over the course of nearly four decades of professional archaeology.
	Congressman Cummings cuts the ribbon for the Project as students and faculty look on.
